Rainbow Minds

A team of fully qualified, accredited therapists working with the communities we serve and understand. Online across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Who We Are
Rainbow Minds is a specialist therapy practice for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent people, their partners, and their families. We were founded in the recognition that mainstream therapy often does not understand the lives it sees. Our therapists are trained specifically in gender, sex, and relationship diversity (GSRD) and in neurodivergent-affirming practice. Some are members of these communities. Others are deeply trained and committed allies. All work under specialist clinical supervision.

A Note from James
Rainbow Minds began with a simple idea. The communities I am part of and have worked with for over fifteen years deserve therapy that already understands the ground we walk on. Not therapy that has to be educated in session first, and not therapy that treats our identities as the problem to be solved. What we offer is care that begins from understanding. Specialist training, ongoing supervision, and a commitment to staying close to the changing realities of LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent lives. If something here feels like it might be right for you, we would be glad to hear from you.
— James Byrne, Founder and Clinical Director
