Alexandra Swift
(she/her)
Hi, I’m Alex. I am a senior trainee currently studying towards a Master’s in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I hold a Master’s in Psychology.
I have experience working with a range of challenges including grief and bereavement, disordered eating, stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I have a deep interest in working with self-identity, and I believe that everyone can benefit from using therapy as a tool for personal development. I am especially committed to working with the LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse communities in an affirmative, creative, and supportive manner.
Having a variety of approaches enables me to tailor our sessions to your unique needs and preferences, and by working together collaboratively, we can create a space where your voice is heard and your individuality is valued. Coming to therapy for the first time or with some experience can be challenging, but getting to know yourself on a deeper level can be a rewarding and enlightening experience. As you navigate this journey, I can offer you a supportive and welcoming environment where you have space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace.
