I am BIPOC (black, indigenous, and person of colour) qualified counsellor and psychotherapist.

In my approach, I use a diverse range of therapeutic methods, including Humanistic-Existential traditions, CBT, Psychodynamic, and Multicultural Therapy. I tailor these approaches to the unique needs of my clients.

As a social justice-informed therapist, I recognise the impact of social issues on my work. My style is collaborative, gentle, and supportive, allowing clients to determine the pace of the work and choose the topics that are most important to discuss.

My experience covers working with adults and adolescents (aged 16 up) on various issues such as anxiety, depression, complex trauma, gender, sexuality, bereavement and grief, chronic illness (HIV), identity exploration, attachment issues, men’s issues, etc...

I also work with a diverse multicultural population, addressing minority stresses and challenges. As a bilingual therapist, I offer therapy sessions in both English and Portuguese.
